The Bernette 64 AIRLOCK is a powerful and easy-to-use overlocker designed for everything from stretchy jersey and sweat fabrics to heavier denim. Its automatic air threader makes threading the loopers quick and simple, while the freearm makes sewing sleeves, cuffs and other tubular projects much easier.

With 16 different stitches, a spacious 130 mm working area, a large slide-on table and sewing speeds of up to 1300 stitches per minute, the b64 AIRLOCK gives you the flexibility and performance to complete projects efficiently. Five bright LEDs illuminate the needle and working area, while the Micro Thread Control (mtc) helps maintain consistent stitch quality even when fabric thickness or cutting width changes.

Features That Make the Difference

Automatic Air Threader

Threading the loopers has never been easier. The bernette 64 AIRLOCK uses an automatic air threader to thread the loopers with a simple push. The colour-coded threading paths make the threading process even easier to follow.

16 Stitch Options

Choose from 16 different stitches, including 2-, 3- and 4-thread overlock stitches, Super Stretch, Flatlock, Narrow Seam, Rolled Hem, Picotstitch and Wrapped Overlock options. This gives you the flexibility to finish edges, create stretchy seams and add decorative effects to a wide range of fabrics.

Micro Thread Control (mtc)

The Micro Thread Control (mtc) system saves time and helps maintain consistent stitch quality. Once the thread tension has been set, you can alter the cutting width or work with different fabric thicknesses without having to continually readjust the thread tension.

Large 130 mm Working Area

With 130 mm of space to the right of the needle, the b64 AIRLOCK provides plenty of room for guiding and handling larger or heavier sewing projects. The spacious area also makes tasks around the needle and looper area more comfortable.

Freearm for Tubular Sewing

The integrated freearm makes sewing tubular projects much easier. Sew cuffs, sleeves, legs, necklines and other smaller circular areas with greater control.

Super-Large Slide-On Table

The included slide-on table provides additional workspace for larger projects. Its rounded surface allows fabric to glide smoothly while giving you more room to guide your material.

5 Bright LED Lights

Five LED lights provide clear illumination around the needle and working area. This makes it easier to see your stitching while also helping with threading and other tasks around the looper and needle area.

Free Hand System with Knee Lifter

The Free Hand System (FHS) allows you to raise the presser foot with your knee while keeping both hands free to position and guide your fabric. The included knee lifter makes fabric handling more convenient during sewing.
