The BERNINA L 460 is a versatile overlocker designed for high-quality seam finishing across a wide range of fabrics. It combines cutting, sewing, and finishing in a single step, making it easy to create professional seams and hems—from fine rolled edges to wider decorative finishes.

With its ergonomic design, BERNINA Free-Hand System (FHS) and powerful yet smooth DC motor, the L 460 provides precise control and comfortable handling when working with both delicate and heavier fabrics.

Performance & Precision

The BERNINA L 460 is equipped with a smooth, quiet DC motor capable of sewing at speeds of up to 1,500 stitches per minute. Its precise speed control allows you to sew stitch-by-stitch when needed or work at higher speeds for longer seams.

Combined with Micro Thread Control, differential feed, adjustable presser foot pressure and automatic needle stop up, the L 460 provides excellent control for accurate and professional seam finishing.

Embroidery

The L 460 is designed specifically for overlocking and seam finishing and does not include embroidery functionality.
