Brother Aveneer EV1 Upgrade Kit UGKEV1

Take your Brother Aveneer EV1 to the next level with the Brother Aveneer EV1 Upgrade Kit UGKEV1. Designed exclusively for the Aveneer EV1, this upgrade expands your creative possibilities with Brother’s largest-ever magnetic embroidery frame, new embroidery and quilting designs, Pattern Projection+, and the powerful Matrix Copy function.

Whether you're creating large-scale embroidery, quilting projects or detailed decorative designs, the UGKEV1 gives your Aveneer EV1 even more creative capability.

Brother’s Largest Ever Magnetic Embroidery Frame

At the heart of the UGKEV1 upgrade is the enormous 408 x 272mm (16" x 10 5/8") magnetic embroidery frame.

Made exclusively for the Brother Aveneer EV1, the frame is constructed from carbon fibre resin, making it stronger and lighter, while its flat magnets make fabric positioning easier.

408 x 272mm Extra-Large Embroidery Area

Huge 408 x 272mm embroidery frame
16" x 10 5/8" frame size
Designed exclusively for the Brother Aveneer EV1
Carbon fibre resin construction
Strong and lightweight design
Flat magnets for easier fabric handling

Pattern Projection+

The UGKEV1 introduces an exclusive enhancement to the Aveneer EV1's projector functionality.

With Pattern Projection+, the embroidery frame moves while your complete selected embroidery design is projected onto the fabric. This allows you to check the full pattern layout before starting to stitch, helping you position your designs with greater confidence.

Matrix Copy Function

Create repeated embroidery designs more efficiently with the Matrix Copy function.

The feature allows you to stitch multiple copies of the same design within one embroidery frame. Intelligent pattern placement helps maximise the number of copies, while automatic thread sorting can reduce the number of thread changes required.

Matrix Copy Benefits

Multiple copies of a design within one hoop
Smart pattern placement
Maximum use of the embroidery area
Automatic thread sorting
Fewer thread changes
Ideal for repeated and decorative designs

22 Trapunto-Style Quilting Designs

Bring a classic dimensional look to your quilting projects with 22 Trapunto-style quiltbroidery designs included with the upgrade kit.

Inspired by Italian quilting traditions, these designs provide additional creative options for adding decorative detail and texture to your projects.

Expand the Aveneer EV1's edge-to-edge quilting library with 5 additional quilt patterns.

These patterns are included exclusively with the UGKEV1 upgrade kit, giving you more options for creating continuous quilting designs across your projects.

10 French Knot Embroidery Patterns

The UGKEV1 introduces 10 French Knot embroidery patterns, a new feature released for 2026.

These raised embroidery designs are designed to add another dimension to your embroidery work and bring additional texture to your finished projects.
